Friday, June 29- Sun, July 1, 2012 – Celebrate America’s Freedom with a traditional 3-day picnic courtesy of the Elkhart Lake Volunteer Fire Department. The event kicks off on Friday night with live music by The Toys at Firemans Park before a grand fireworks display at dusk! Gather at the lakefront for a spectacular view. The party continues at the park on Saturday with Road Trip playing at night. There’s more fun on Sunday with the parade starting at 11:30 a.m. including the University of WI Marching Band, a 5th quarter performance at the park, and the ever-popular Jerry Schneider band providing more live entertainment. Spend the day at the park enjoying food, beverages, rides, and games for the entire family. You can also enjoy live music and refreshments from 7-11 pm at The Osthoff’s Lake Deck and Victorian Village Resort’s Barefoot Tiki Bar. There’s still more lakeside music on Sunday from 2-6 pm at the Lake Deck and 4:30-8:30 pm at the Tiki Bar.
On Wednesday, July 4th – Continue the celebration at Victorian Village Resort with singer/songwriter Rob Anthony at the Tiki Bar from 1-5 pm. Head to Siebken’s Stop Inn Tavern from 9 pm-1 am for music by Supa Sonic!
On Thursday, July 5th – Great family fun at Road America! Load up the car and drive the track in your own vehicle. The Sunset Cruise event is held 5:30-7:30 pm – rain or shine. Enter Gate 5. Register 4:30-5:30 pm. SPACE IS LIMITED. $20/carload. Details at RoadAmerica.com or call 920-892-4576.
Wednesday, July 4 & Thursday, July 5th – Don’t miss the live musical revues at Victorian Village Resort’s Century-old Theater. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. For tickets, call 877-860-9988.
