Elkhart Lake Fireman's Independence Day Celebration
Celebrate your Independence in Elkhart Lake. The Volunteer Fire Department does a BANG UP! job with its picnic Friday through Sunday at Elkhart Lake Fireman's Park and Beach. Great family fun with picnic food and beverages, rides, games, and beach fun. No coverage charge during the 3-day picnic.
Entertainment at Firemans Park: The Toys (Friday Night), Johnny Wad Band (Saturday Night) and UW Marching Band's 5th Quarter follows the parade with Jerry Schneider Orchestra playing 1-5 pm (Sunday afternoon).
Fireworks Display on the Lakefront: Friday night at 9:30 pm (rain date is Saturday at 9:30 pm).
Parade on Sunday, festivities start at 11:30 am with a parade through downtown Elkhart Lake which features the return of the University of Wisconsin Marching Band. Follow the parade to Fireman's Park where you will enjoy the UW Marching Band's 5th quarter performance, games, activities, beach fun and polka music. Seasonal recreation on beautiful Elkhart Lake with sand beach, concession stand, picnic tables, grills and sand voleyball courts. Restroom facilities. Shelters for rent.
