Pioneer Day Camp at Wade House
The Pioneer day camp introduces children, firsthand, to daily life in Wisconsin nearly 150 years ago. Kids learn the art of blacksmithing, woodworking, candle making, sewing, hearth cooking and much more as they spend each day exploring the daily activities of Wisconsin's early settlers. 9 am �" 2 pm. Targeted for ages 8 �" 13. Admission by advance registration.

The highlight of this historical complex is the restored Wade House, an 1850s nationally-land-marked stagecoach inn whose 27 rooms come to life through costumed guided tours., Also included are the Herrling Sawmill, the Dockstader Blacksmith Shop and the Wesley Jung Carriage Museum; orientation theatre, gift shop and the Greenbush Cupboard Cafe are also on-site. Horse-drawn wagon rides are included with site admission.
The Wade House Historic Site is open 10 am - 5 pm mid-May through October with special programs offered throughout the year. Visitor Center Gift Store is open daily 10 am to 5 pm. Greenbush Cupboard cafe is open weekends 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. General admission is $11 for adults, $9.25 for Students (with ID) and Seniors (65+), $5.50 for children ages 5-17, and FREE for children uner age 5. A family rate of $30 admits two adults and all dependent children through age 17. Horse-drawn wagon rides are included with admission.
