Marsh Park, Tower & Wildlife area
The Marsh Park and wildlife area is a recreational haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The vast park attracts hunters, fishermen, and wildlife/nature observers. Year round we have visitors and enthusiasts spanning world-wide admiring our vast impressive nature the property has to offer.
Most of the park remains a wilderness, but a 30 acre section of the park is developed and is open year around. Campsites, a party/meeting facility, a boat launch, fishing piers, playground and picnic areas are all available and perfect for a day of family fun.
The wooden observation tower is eighty feet high and is now the tallest wooden tower structure in the state. It features four large viewing platforms and the base. The tower is located at the Broughton Sheboygan Marsh Park and Wildlife Area which covers 14,000 acres – more than half of which are county- and state-owned land. Enjoy the panoramic view.
It is near the entrance to the county-owned 30-acre park near the junction of County Highways J and P northwest of Elkhart Lake. This four-season county park has 62 campsites complete with electrical and water hook-up, dump station, picnic area, fishing, playground, full menu restaurant and access to the Sheboygan County snowmobile trail system.
